Question: How does one fit so much feisty attitude into a fun-sized fireball? No idea. But perhaps all that Coke Light and Strawberry Rocky she consumes somewhat helps.
With all that sugar in her blood, it's hard to imagine someone who bounces off the walls like that is actually a nerd at heart. Leave her in a bookstore and you can bet your bottom dollar she's spent more on some printed pages of intellect and intrigue. She skipped her way to dance classes as a teenager and that lit the passion that still blazes on the dance floor today. She'll dance circles around you in those 4-inch heels and you still won't know what hit you.
Juggling all sorts while making and keeping friends and competitive foosball it's a wonder she got any work done at all. The irony of someone who enjoys sports like basketball, but absolutely detests anything to do with the great outdoors and would balk at the thought of sleeping in a tent without air-conditioning, is definitely worth a quiet laugh at. But not too loud. Your ass could be kicked to oblivion. Feisty, remember? She talks too loud. She laughs too loud. She probably thinks too loud too. She couldn't tell between denim and silk
Now she struts in electric blue tights and too-high Oxfords and offends those who cannot comprehend. Still trying to get her priorities straight, but sometimes stumbling as she drags someone else along the way, she needs to be reminded to be selfish once in awhile or she'll probably try to change the world. In her ideal world, galloping herds of My Little Pony graze alongside romping Care Bears, with delectable Bacardi Apple trees swaying tipsily in her backyard. No instructions, ignoring directions and throwing all maps into the wind, she's skipping down her own yellow brick road to her own (very loud) beat.'-Written by Hsu Jen |

It's evident enough that I have to get my butt to bed before midnight and get some sleep. I've noticed if I were to sleep before 1am, it's been hell trying to get up and head off for work.
Man, I must be getting old. Not helping with the fact that work has been extremely hectic due to the rush job we are in right now and I even take work home with me to finish up.
God give me strength!
*~The very few that keeps me sane~*
Oh, the shoes in the picture that I was wearing happily hurts so badly that I decided to give it away. There goes RM50.

| Shiny and Sleek |
Being exceedingly worried of getting caught in the ever popular city traffic, it really didn’t help when I was running down the stairs yelling for a plaster from my mom. I needed to put one behind my heel as my gorgeous, much loved caged heels were hurting. It was worse when I was trying to put the damn plaster on quickly and ended up making it stick together. Twice.
Racing down to PJ to meet the rest as we planned to carpool together to save petrol and the environment, it was a shocker to us all that there was no traffic! So, we made our way to Mandarin Oriental’s ballrooms earlier June to welcome the birth of Nokia’s newest child, the N97.
Being served with small snack foods and drinks, we stood around and also walked around rather aimlessly for quite a bit while we waited for the event to commence. Things got a whole lot more interesting when a bunch of people decked out in costumes walked around humouring the crowd.
 *~Goody bags for all~*
Caught up with a few recognizable faces a short bit before the grand doors beckoned for us, I was delighted to see the ballroom filled with colourful seats in all shapes and sizes along with various N97 display counters and several unique stations that allowed us to parade in vibrant costumes and they even had face painting.
*~Gorgeous Sherelyn (I'm still so not use to saying her english name as I knew her years back)~*
*~She and I adore our shoes, 'Nuff said~*
 *~Ze usuals~*

Grabbing a circle seat in front as fast as I could, although knowing that people would think how ‘kiasu’ I am, due to the fact that I am vertically challenged I didn’t want my sight to be blocked by people during the event. Most people’s concentration were turned to the huge screen that displayed latest updates on Twitter who updated regarding about the event! Immediately with the gift of free Wi-Fi, I whip my phone out and started twitting.
 *~Gravity rocks most people's socks~*
I swear twitter has taken over my life that it is the first thing I do and read every day I wake up.
The night rolled on by a presentation of the new Nokia N97 that I immediately swooned for the moment I tried the display unit. Everything about it was so complete and sleek. It is a combination of applications, games, videos, podcasts, productivity tools, web services, music and much more, the Nokia N97 is being sold for RM2480.
*~I wanted to steal the sheep home, but being the good citizen I am, I didn't.Dammit~*
*~Caught up with old Uni Mate Claudia and new mate Maybritt~*
 *~Because we lean that way~*

If only I hadn’t gone and bought my Nokia 5800 I thought as I put it back and looked at it forlornly. The Nokia N97 is perfect for socially connected people who have got to be on the internet 24/7 and now with this baby, everyone is connected at all times.
I want!
In between good conversation and food that was served to us, I was busy chomping down the dessert bar like no other. Waiting unwearyingly for one of the contest to start, it was said that to win a phone, one must challenge others in Guitar Hero!
 *~Suanie & Me-I loved her face painting design~*
*~Su Ann who is back from NY for holidays~*
 *~This one I miss and want catch up more with-Kim & I~*
*~Old foosball friend Galvin and also Myhorng who I officially spoke to that night~*
*~With the cute couple who I was told, Mellissa kicks KY's butt in Guitar Hero~*
It was really a sight to see as the Guitar Heroes that we have heard so much about and had such faith in, failed us thanks to technical delay that came from the game.
But in all good sport, it was fun watching them battled.

*~Mellissa doing her thang, while KY take a shot at the drums~*
Nokia event never lets down it just gets better each time, so a big thank you to Text100 for the invite!
Taking off my caged heels I groan in pain as I felt the aching behind my heel began to throb. Man, why does it take so long for new shoes to break in?

| Sneezing Flurry |
Sneezing for 9 times in a row, definitely was a bad sign while I was in the midst of working my brains out. Rushing everything I could yesterday, it didn't help when my nose kept itching and I had to run to the bathroom to sneeze in private. I didn't want to bother my other workmates which of course I did eventually as I can't stay in the toilet forever.
With extreme tons of workload on my mind, I ended up sick this morning and couldn't bring myself to make my body get up for work which of course resulted me in staying home on MC. Still feeling horrible though as I feel my body is on heat 24/7 but here I am awake because I just want to finish up a couple of work assignments I had to finsih today at home.
Can't sleep with those thoughts swirling around.
I hate having sore throat as well, I wish there were hot honey lime delivered to my office for the next week.
*~With a cold like that, I wish I had these warm, fluffy boots to wear~*

| Cutting Loose Strings |
On a Friday after going through what was known as the usual traffic crawl back home, I didn't had the privilege to crash on my bed as soon as I stepped foot into my room.
Crashing close to 1 in the morning, I struggled getting up the next morning to attend my friend's convocation in TARC. Crushing my palms together as I rolled by the campus, feeling extremely lost and bewildered at the masses of people walking about in what I can only deem as a fashion blunder. They spoke in languages I knew that came from my heritage but a language that befuddles me a big deal.
 *~Congrats to Mr.Joshua Ong~*
Seeing graduation hats being thrown in the air along with loud whoops and cheers, it put a smile on my face as it reminded me of my graduation. I was very thankful that mine was held in a hotel where I wasn't sweating bullets outdoor like how it was done in TARC.
Praise God for air-conditioning!
*~Everybody who made it to celebrate with him~*
Preparing myself for a late night clubbing session in celebration of a friend's birthday, I managed to get her birthday gift in less than 1o minutes and to quickly grab my ever needed and love BOOST juice.
No surprises when I met the owner of Boost Juice Bars once again, and this time we caught up way more than we did the first time. They are planning to open more outlets in PJ which thrilled me to no end which meant I no longer have to brave through the horrible city traffic to get my dosage.
 *~With Nick Tiernan~*
Once they start opening much more nearby, I'm going to be drinking more than jsut their Mango Tango Crush but also their Brekkie To GoGo one which is absolutely delicious!Labels: food, friends, places |
